Tahini Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 3 Tablespoons melted coconut oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 325 F. Line a large baking sheet.

  2. Add oats to a large bowl and set aside.

  3. In a small pot, stir together tahini, honey, coconut oil, salt, cardamom, and cinnamon. Heat briefly until warm. Stir until smooth.

  4. Pour tahini mixture over oats mixture and stir until evenly combined.

  5. Spread granola evenly on prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 12 minutes, stir once.

  7. Bake for another 5-10 minutes or until granola is lightly toasted. Keep your eye on it, it burns fast!

  8. Remove baking sheet from oven and let cool.

  9. Break up granola into desired size of clumps.

  10. Serve immediately or store in a mason jar to use whenever you want. Enjoy!
