Oven Baked Onion Rings

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 3/4 cups water

  • 1 cup chickpea flour

  • 1 cup oat flour

  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder

  • 2 teaspoons paprika

  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • Dash of salt & pepper

  • 6 Tablespoons nutritional yeast

  • 3 Tablespoons oregano

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Mix water and 1/2 cup of chickpea flour in a bowl.

  3. Mix in the rest of the chickpea flour with the rest of the ingredients in another bowl.

  4. Dip the onion rings into the water/flour mixture and then in the other mixture.

  5. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
